Default Close but no cigar
Had some unexpected early morning excitement today! I just got out of the shower, was in my jeans and t-shirt when I came downstairs and saw about 15 turkeys in my back yard!

I then realized that my bow was locked up in my truck in the driveway, snuck out the front door, got the bow came around the side of the house, in my bare feet, and sent an arrow towards the biggest one in the group only to watch it fly over it and disintegrate on the rock wall just beyond :-(

At this point they started moving toward the woods and I took a second shot and missed and a third shot and missed :-(

Oh well, I still have almost 3 months to get one, the funny thing is they were all around my target mat so I knew the exact yardage from just about everywhere around my house. No excuses for this one :-)

LOL!!! OMG!! I can't believe you missed 3 times!!!! Too much!

No turkeys this morning, but they usually show up every couple of days. Hopefully it will just be a matter of time. Now if I could just get one to wear a bullseye ...

You can probably shoot the daylights out of a turkey target day in and day out. The real thing presents a problem.

I too am surprised that you were able to get off three shots at them.
