Default Hog Hunting in Florida
Ralph , Vickie and the rest of the posse , y'all keep it...
I love the shows y'all do hog hunting in Florida..
People if you havn't tried it..Give it a chance with the bow.
And you'll be hooked for life..

i love those shows when hunt hogs i would like to hunt hogs in florida someday.

Why don't they ever hunt hogs in Texas. We bow hunt them quite a bit at night here with Hawglites. Why is there never a show done about bowhunting them at night?

We have more than any other state in the country. I bowhunt them year round here with no bag limit. Not sure what it's like in Florida, but I know we have a heck of a lot more hogs. I see 30 or 40 every morning behind the factory I work at...and the other day there were 75+.

I've got 4 hogs in the freezer right now.

They've got nothing against hunting Hogs in the great state of Texas, it's just one of those things that they've found and outstanding outfitter (osceola outfitters/Hoppy Kempfer) that offers a variety of opportunities. They typically hunt hogs or turkeys during the day and go after gators at night. I'm not sure about the regs. on hogs at night in FL, I've done it in TX before and man was it a blast!!! Hoppy's place is high on my list, but Texas is right up there too!

Was hoping to get a chance to try my hand at hog hunting in Florida this year when we are there over Christmas but the wife said no way it's a family vacation not an hunting trip. Still have been bugging her with it still have abit of time before we leave so I'll keep working on her.

I tried to persuade the wife that I cold go hog hunting for a day during our family vacation, but she wasn't haing it. She's on to me when I plan vacations. I'm always trying to get her to go to a lake in wisconsin or maybe out west, so what if there's a river right there for trout fishing.

I'm heading down to Tampa, Fl on Thanksgiving Day,with the wife. We're getting on a cruise ship Sunday morning. I'd thought about seeing about a hunt of some kind on Fri or Sat. Then my buddy, who we're staying with, told me he'd set up a fishing trip in the Gulf. Dolphin(Mahi-Mahi, not Flipper), blackfin tuna, grouper and spending the day on a Sportfisher in blue water with friends, won me over.
