17 Hands !?! One that size isn't easy to ride. You can't hardly get your legs to get grip if she was too broad across the back. When they get that size, orney ain't a good trait to have neither.

I got on the bed of the pick up just to get in the saddle. I know I have a pic of my dad on her, I'll have to scan it in tomorrow and post it. I could walk under her by just bending my head down. And not one you wanted to get off of in the woods unless there was a tree stump or creek bank so you could get back on!!
