I really hope she's ok.

I was talking to a gal at work, whose family wouldn't leave. She said after an hour, the National Guard gave up trying to talk them into leaving, handed them a marker and told them to write their social security numbers on their arm.

If some of you don't get what that means... it means they want to be able to identify bodies.

Well Kevin is ok in Corsicana. Randy, Christine and the kids made it through. Nate sounds like his family did ok too. They are all in Mexia.

Granted they are a ways from the coast, but none the less...

I'm sure Starr made it though ok. She's a tough gal!

Life is good. No trees on the house. Neighbors are all okay. No electricity at the house but we did not lose water b/c the supply has a generator. We have a propane hot water heater. So, I can take a shower (REALLY, REALLY great thing!!). Limbs down everywhere. Trees down everywhere. My dad lost part of his hay barn—the metal bent.

Work has water and lights. So I am at work today wearing a signed Archer's Choice hat b/c no way to fix my hair!!!

Is everyone else doing okay?
