Wow what a mess this looks to be. I found out that on Friday people got an email saying their hunt was cancelled. I dont know if they just packed up and left or what. I feel sorry for all the fellow hunters who are going through this. A lot of dreams were crushed because of this. Hopefully they can at least get their money back. Hopefully no one here is affected by this.

a laywer is being chosen right now, so far it looks like no money will be returned until lawsuit is settled. the government said they might step in to help out. But at the least they will be offered a hunt in 2010, 2009 is out for some reason? a lot of guys are set to leave for their hunt in the next couple days. A bunch of unhappy folks right now.

I hunted with Tuttulik in 2006 and it was a incredible hunt.

I cant imagine the hunters that showed up in Montreal and found out their hunt was cancelled, the hotel rooms cancelled, and their money gone........................

I can't even imagine how terrible that would be. Thats a dream hunt for most. Sae ur money and be out like that. a shame.

What a bummer!!! Hope they get their hunts or money back!!!! Either way, looks like it may take a couple years!!!

I would be very very surprised if the gov't got involved with this, especially the Canadian government. Why would they?
