Got some rain!!!!

Well last night we seeded our plot. I know its a little later then what I like. But anyway we had a good soaking rain today. So this should really give it a good start. And by the way we saw a real nice copperhead while seeding it. I think he was looking for youngbuck!

I planted mine last Sunday and it was already starting to sprout on Wednesday when I checked on it. It got its first taste of rain on Thursday when we got a steady rain all day totaling 2"

I expect it to be 10' tall after that soaking!!!

After the little rain we got from the last 2 hurricanes, I actually got to mow my yard Sat. It been so dry the crab grass was dieing!

We've got copperheads and rattlers on the western parts of Va. The coastal regions have those plus cottonmouths.
