My wife is gonna hate this because it is going to fuel my fire just that much more to get an elk tag and book a hunt.

Congratulations! I'm sure there was plenty of work involved with bagging a monster like that.

I'm going to have a friggin' heart attack! I leave in 4 days for my Colorado Elk Hunt and after the report my brother gave me from this weekend, I'm on pins and needles with excitement!

Your bull looked huge because he IS huge!!!

Hey thank you everybody!! It was a great hunt! this is the 3rd year that I have been trying to get a bull with a bow and all I can say is WOW WHAT A HUNT!!! it made up for the misses I had the last 2 years.

Unfortunately, misses are part of our game as long as we continue to use stick and string. Getting something like you got would make up for it my book. The taxidermist's bill would be a bugger too, but I'd gladly pay it to put one of those on my wall.
