I was out at the in laws this weekend in sask and found a nice shed(first one of the year)its the second shed I have found over the last couple years in the same area.I also found a trail about a mile away that had 3 or 4 rubs from last fall, the trail goes to a open feild on the edge of the forest. Were would be the best place to put a blind at the sheds or the rubs?

Really not sure what to tell you without knowing the property.
Is there any thick cover near either of those spots? I would almost say go with the rubs for this early in the season.

working old rubs is only good for pre-rut and we don't have any pics to advise.

Rub lines show pre rut travel routes...
Look for funnels and saddles for rut activity. Does being chased by bucks tend to take the easiest path to get from cover to cover.... Hunt the does to find the bucks!!!!
