after cleaning out that tree a few days ago I'm figureing if your going to get it you got it by now. How about a report if you can stop scratching long enough.

Today it started itching pretty good. I will admit I thought it would have been worse though. I will be going back to hang the stand this weekend.

Bull, we all admire your dedication, but I would have just put a Choice blind next to the tree.....problem solved! See, I made my Choice and no posse members were harmed in the making of this message!!!

Actually... since you and bull are about the only posse members who are here regularly anymore... It would be a little tough to harm one.

Well that stand setup is complete. I have the shooter and camera stand all hung. Now I will just have to find a crazy cameraman or woman to climb in and film.

we were hanging stands today and found a loaded apple tree in a fence line with a huge beding area on the other side of the fence which we can't hunt but the apple tree is on our side of the fence. The problem is there is only one tree within bow range its 20 yards and perfect but covered with poision oak . Kim put a stop to that idea before i could get started so I guess that will be a ground blind set up.

I remember the last time you hung a stand in a tree covered in poison ivy.. it didn't turn out too good for any of us! So much for using the vines as steps!!!
