Anyone ever have their article in a magazine?

I have stories I wrote but never did anything with. Always wanted to send them in to magazines but just didnt. I wrote stories about my engagement buck and my turkey bow slam. Maybe this year i will pursue it a little more.

I write outdoor articles for an online company/magazine.

A side note; my son was featured in the NC Bowhunter Magazine as a Future Bowhunter.
Had his pic and all there.

I have an article in Real Hunting Magazine. It was in the Dec/Jan issue. I want to send my articles to other magazines, just can't seem to find the time to get it done

Written a poetry book (200+ pages). Most of my writing is patriotic, war, or Christian poetry, life lessons, etc. Featured Poet at Writer's Monthly in San Diego in Feb 04. Published in a number of anthologies. Published on a number of ezines. Used to write poetry and/or articles for a monthly publication for our church. Also working on a novel (whenever I have time). First 5 chapters are done. It's based on my great-grandfather's life (fought in 2nd range war in Laramie County, WY - between cattle ranchers and sheep ranchers over grazing rights). Writing is another passion of mine. I've been told that I missed my calling as a writer. Still hope to. Wrote a children's book too (with my wife). Have someone working on illustrations. If anyone is interested I'll post one of my Civil War ones up here that was published in an anthology a few years ago (it's one I really like).
