Default snarring bears...

One of the threads on the trapping section got me thinking... other than Nova Scotia is there any place where it is legal to snare bears?

The native American's or the Cree tribe do snare bears on occasion. When I was in camp in Saskat. CA the topic came up and the local Cree people are able to snare black bears but usually it's used for trouble bear.
