Rick, If he got sick off of seafood, then trust me, somewhere, something got spilled or spewed! Been there, done that and threw away the teeshirt.

Well.....Bull and I were returning to camp after sighting in the rifles on Anticosti Island last November. Bull told the guide that he was allergic to seafood and just wanted to make sure there weren't any issues on that end.

The guide stated that everything would be fine....that there probably wouldn't be any seafood served since we missed out on our lobster dinner the night before because our flight to the island was canceled.

So....fast forward to diner.

The Menu:
Lettuce salad with baby shrimp
Escargot
Baked Salmon
Scallops
etc, etc, etc

When the waitress walked by Bull with two plates of food, his throat started to swell. This was a great concern to us because who would run the camera if he went belly up

Wow... so let me see if I understand this...

He had an anaphylactic shock reaction based on acute VISUAL exposure... not ingestion?

Now that is allergic... seriously. Man Bull... stay away from the fishing links!

thanks for the input on the moon phases guys. Sounds like it might take some experimentation. I'll see if I can get a grant for the studies from my employer. Say... 8 to 12 weeks of intesive study in varying weather conditions across different areas of the country?

Yeah I went to bed that night wondering if I would wake up to hunt the next morning. Seriously my first thought when i went to bed was. I came all the way up here and I might not wake up for my first morning hunt.

I knew Scott would say that! No the buck I missed up there was on full moon.

I know our Hoyt,Beman,Nap setup's Rock but c'mon bull shooting at a deer on the moon.....man that's just irresponsible. The Nikon rangefinders are awesome but mine doesn't have a "lunar shot" mode did you special order that? How far was the holdover?

Actually....I think it was the odor that almost induced anaphylaxis.

He would have been fine though....I just happened to have an Epipen on me and I was fixin' to duct tape it to my Beman.

I wonder if he would have gotten' the proper dose of epinephrine via pass-through???

You know the new Archers choice rangefinder compensates the angle.
