Default Timberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

I was out minding my own business last night as I sat on the edge of a field filming a doe and young buck that had just entered a field. They were just starting to get into better range for my 12x zoom when....creek creek creek crack crack crack snap snap snap CRASH CRASH CRASH B O O M!!

A huge limb broke off a tree and came crashing down right next to me. The scary part was I couldn't see it coming....I could just hear it as it crashed through the limbs and brush I was hiding in.

It also got the attention of the deer and my night of filming was cut short.

Speaking of "shorts"

Man that could have been a bad thing. Very bad thing.

I read somewhere something similar to that. I think the guy stood up to get a shot off and it was just enough to loose a big limb about 10 foot up the tree.

Glad you weren't hurt! But you answered the age old question
If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it actually make a noise?
