Man I wish my wife would show some interest. Then she may appreciate and know the time and comitment it took to take the deer on the wall and maybe even put one on there herself. At least I have my kids to teach and watch them grow into it. Congrats on your great news.

York, forget about the guns and bows right now. get her a camera or camcorder and invite her to come with you and take pictures. worked with the wife. now, if I go hunting, she goes too.

Send her to me! I know I can convince her to get outdoors and hunt and shoot.

I like TLC's suggestion with the camera! I'd get her a bow to practice with, just something to "play" with for now and build up the interest. Have Fun!

York-you need to tell her that the peace and quiet that she has been looking for is in the woods. I actually felt rejuvinated when I headed back and was debating just sleeping there for the night. I haven't felt that relaxed in years. I did fall asleep in my stand. And I never understood when people would tell me they fall asleep how that was possible. Now I know!

See I told you! Get the gals on here and let our wonderful ladies work on them some. Before you know it... you'll have a new hunter to contend with.
In all seriousness, the best thing I've gotten out of hunting, I already had sleeping next to me every night. Even if I'm in trouble and should be banned to the couch. With that... This is the big 1000. WOOHOO!!! Goodbye beloved Elk... Hello Musk Ox.
