Which week of the rut

Looking for some advice on which week to hunt. Got the choice of the 1st or 2nd week in November at the place I'm going. Does anyone think one is better than the other?

It varies from year to year so I wouldn't put too much thought into it.......JUST FLIP A COIN

I'm serious......just flip a coin

They could be heavy in the chase phase which can be exciting....or they could already be locked down with does.

If it were me.......I would probably choose the 1st......or the 2nd

I'm not trying to be a smart ass.......its just that you asked one of the million dollar questions that I don't think there is a right answer for.

You can't go wrong with either week in my opinon.

I think the weather has alot to do with it...

So if you can predict the weather 2 months out let me know...

We always go the 2nd week of November out to Indiana.

Thats just because we think the it will be colder and we can catch the first day of gun season...

Nice...

I tend to be about 4 hours late for work most of the first week of Nov. Then go to Indi the second week...

Traffic in my area is really tough that time of year!!

I'd go the first bc I hate when daylight savings time ends!!!

I would go with the closer week to full moon. I love full moon!!! And I know alot more that hate it. But its been good to me.

I wish I could go both weeks, but I am going with an outfitter and can't afford both weeks. I don't have a place to hunt my own. Also, I am new to the hunting game and really just learning.

I'd check with the outfitter. They may be able to give ya an idea of what's ahppened the last few years, during these weeks. Of course nothings set in stone when it comes to hunting! Animals have ways of changing things to suit themselves.
