I originally posted this as a reply to Hoosier Huntress' insinuation that I might write a little snake killin' poem. Well, I figured she wouldn't see it as many of you wouldn't so I created a new thread for it. I thought it was good for a laugh. Enjoy!

Copperhead Randy
Let me tell you a story about a man named Randy
A hog huntin’ man really faired himself the dandy

Went trompin’ in the hog woods one summer day
Stompin’ down the grass where the Copperhead lay

Up went the bow and up went the arrow
Up went Randy singin’ like a sparrow

The Great White Hunter steadied his bow
Randy would be saved, this ya’ll know!

The arrow flew true, one Copperhead down
Where the heck was Randy? Half way to town!
