I just saw Ralph in an ad for the Epic Stealthcam. He had it mounted on the stabilizer.
I just wanted to know if he had tried it. I'm worried about the shock

I think they tried it on the bow and had problems. Ralph told me to keep it off the bow.

It does work but you get a real good view the top cam of my bow...
A couple of my buddies have gotten them and are working on solutions... The 2x zoom does allow you to see the targets better when you make a shot... Very cool toy!!!

Hi All, Sorry we have been running crazy here, but the EPIC is awesome and we just got back and used it underwater and it is really cool! Mounting it on the stabalizer works if you don't have the rubber adapter mounted between the bow and weight. We have found the shock no matter where you mount it on the bow and the movement after the shot sometimes jumps to much for you to see the shot. Keep it on your hat mount, or even the small screw in bracket you can attach to the tree.
This little camera is awesome and you have to play with it to find the best placement for you. We played with attaching it to the side of our head with a head band and this is working out pretty cool too. It helps to tell the story to all your friends and family who were not there, this is one of those toys that you can have a lot fo fun with.... Ralph |

Thanks Ralph
I've been playing with clipping it on the side of the brim of my hat. I had a problem with it pointing at the Cam of my bow... Next is tests with the luminock...

I have also seen the new Roscoby riser cam. Has anyone used or heard anything about it?

Haven't heard much about it, my big problem is when ever you attach a camera to a bow of gun if seems no matter what design you miss the shot do to the recoil of the weapon. We are playing with the hat and mounting to the side of your head and this is by far getting some of the best footage we ahve ever gotten. Hope this helps and this is cool....

I can see the same miss on the hat too with a hard kicking gun. Too bad too because that would be AWESOME footage.
I keep looking at digital camcorders on line but the numbers for the ones I want are... well... ![]() I would love to get Cheri's first hunt on video with something other than my cell phone. Just don't have the funds right now. Maybe next year.

Similar deal as used in the Fire Service, however, I don't hunt with the brim forward when using a bow and don't want to hand more do-dads off my bow. Perhaps if they have a wide view version and you could hang on your stand maybe it would have some merit. On a brim when rifle hunting maybe cool. Just could be an issue to make sure the alignment between scope and camera is optimum to catch the cam/gunshots. I am always willing to be a product tester
