WTG Snake Slayer!! I just seen a garner snake the other day, it was about 2feet long. I should have run it over with the 4-wheeler, but my luck it would fling up or something.

I hate snakes too, at least all I see is gardners. I don't know what I would do if I saw the bigger and poisnous ones.

I'm all for letting a snake be a snake but when the snake has the potential to kill my 6 yr old, who is occasionally out there on that property with me, my logic transfers to this:

Any venemous snake found where my son treads is afforded a quick death. If it makes the court of popular opinion happy I do let the non-venemous ones slither on by. It's more about trying to prevent a tragic event.

I'm not planning on starting a viper refuge there but your welcome to come "relocate" as many as you want.

Having said that, I sincerely do respect and appreciate your opinion.

I'm a bit different, I don't mind snakes. I actually like them!!! I watched a show yesterday about venemous animals and learned there are about 2400 different species of snakes, only 400 are venemous. When I lived in TX I stepped on a hognose and did the Randy jump thinking it was a rattler. I scared it as much as it scared me. It's funny, I did not see it til I jumped, but, when I stepped down on it I knew immediately I was stepping on a snake. Don't know how. I lived in the country and had an occasional moccasin or copperhead near my wood pile, they got relocated to snake heaven, but otherwise, if nonpoisinous, they got to live where they wanted to. Great for varmit and insect control.

Copperhead Randy
