Default ladder stands

What is your favorite ladder stand? I don't think I'll be able to use a climber until my hip heals more, and that will probably mean no climbers this coming season at all.

I have a 16-footer by Ameristep, haven't tried it out yet but this fall I will. I think TLC has the same kind, he recommended a better cushion for it.

I picked up Strongbuilt 15fters last year at WallyWorld. Got them on sale for $75 each I think, after season ended. Haven't got them up yet but hunted from a couple of the same ones last year. Roomy enough so ya don't get too cramped up and they have a shooting rail.

I like the ones we made, but they aren't easy to put up.

My son bought a 2 "person" stand last year, can't remember the manufacturer off hand, that was pretty nice. It had a gun bar that could be flipped behind you for bow hunting and gave you quite a bit of room for shooting.

I have "The Choice" from Ameristep. Awesome. I wish they had one that was a bit higher but the one I have worked well. I dropped a doe 12' up and 10 yards away as I sat comfortably in that stand.

I just saw a couple from ameristep last weekend, my favorite was the Beast. I'm a big guy and it had plenty of room for me. If I remember right it was 18'

I have an Ameristep Grizzly that I got from BPS last fall for $99. It was an two person stand never used it but my sister did an she said that it was very comfortable. Going to be looking for another one this year to but up on another peice of property that I just got permission on, along with another hang on or two.

That may be the one that we got last year at Bass Pro for the same price.
