Default went looking for a hunting spot last night

The zone I live in was a CWD zone and this spring they wiped out 2500 deer about the same amount last year.So last night I went for a drive looking for any whitetails or mullies so I could hunt this fall.I saw 2 whitetail does in the huge area I covered

I happen to be talking to a guy at work and he owns 5 quaters of farm land in a different zone 30 min south of my house. He doesn't hunt and told me its crawling with mullies and a few whitetails and to go ahead and hunt on it.He said he'll even take me out and show me around the area

Can't wait to get my trail cam set up out there now.

Good and bad news! Not so good news that your area was hit by CWD...... but great you found some new land. We still don't have CWD here but to the west we have TB....... along the Sask border.

Great news, I love getting new spots....but it sucks when you lose a good spot too. The've hit my area pretty hard for cwd too, they were shooting less than a mile from my house I did pick up a new spot in WI, but it's about 4 hrs away. I guess "have BOW will travel" will be my new theme!!!

That first part sucks, but looks like some good has come out of it.
