Well one thing I came across in the woods was an old steam engine. So you sit there and look how the hell did it get here I don't see any tracks in the side of the mountain and gee that must have been some time ago.

I would have to say a hog hide/head. Some yahoo, whose property adjoins the public land I hunt apparently didn't like Buddy Bill asking him to hold of on 4-wheeling, because we were hunting. The next time we went to that area, my hang on and sticks were gone and a hog hide/head mysteriously showed up in that corner.

Well I've seen still's (some running; some not) you don't stick around long when you see one of those.
I've seen pot plants up and coming. I've seen 4-wheelers tucked away in the woods (stolen). I've seen a lot. I'll have to think about the oddest. |

Shortly after my neighbor's husband left for his 3-11 shift at the saw mill, a UPS truck pulled up to make a delivery with a real stud behind the wheel. It took 2 1/2 hrs to make that delivery....I could see the truck parked out front from my tree stand
...I guess he aimed to please!

A large black cat. Might remember the story on the old site. Saw a BIG black bobcat about 100 yards away it ran away from us a little ways slowed down and turned right into the woods. When it turned right it had a long black tail about the length of the body. I was in shock and still am. It was at least 40 pounds or more and like I said the size of a BIG bobcat or Coyote. Judging from all of the feedback it may have been a young cougar (melanistic?). Dunno, but it was BLACK. That is the strangest thing I've ever seen in the outdoors.
