It's pretty simple to work a pot call, they are probably the easiest of all the turkey calls to use...just a little bit of practice and you can get birds to come your way!

Sorta on subject...

I just picked up my first set of mouth calls. Man they are a blast! I was walking around the grocery store clucking away. People were freaking out!

One lady asked what that was and I told her. She said, "You understand the turkeys here are frozen right?"

All I could do was stare her and finally I said, "Yes ma'am, but the manager insists I do this once in a while to keep them from trying to get into the beer aisle."

Then it was a staring contest. I won.

Just watch the reeds on the tongue the first time out... I almost urped.

Try practicing your goose calling in stop and go traffic on the Baltimore Beltway during rush hour!!!!!

It's generally the people driving BMWs that you get the strangest looks from....
