Danner does make an awsome boot. I used them in the Military and still use them for work boots!!!

I just got my first pair of Danner boots for next season. I've worn them a time or two when shed hunting and they were quite comfortable. They are 1200, but I use them for sitting in the stand all day.

I ended up getting the Rockies w/400gr of thinsulate.Have to admit they are really comfortable and haven't rubbed any blisters while I've been breaking them in.
