Default My first attempt.

Well I turned my first pot call. Im pleased with how it looks but I would like to get the sound a little better. Not bad but not the tone I am looking for. Here are some pics.

Bull,
What did ya use to hold the slate in place? I used some Marine grade stuff to fix one of my pots and it changed the tone completely. Man did it ever! It's got a better tone than it ever did and I use it almost exclusively now.

Your right the tone changed when mine dried up. I love the sound it has now. The stuff I used was plumbers goop. I have a cherry pot aluminum over glass drying and a oak pot with crystal over glass drying.
