Redemption Hunt '08
Well, after last years misfortune (missed a doe, hit a buck right on the shoulder with no recovery, but he was seen later in the year), I've been itching to get another crack at a big Illinois buck.
Today, I applied for my non-resident archery permit, so, provided I get my tag, and chances are I will, I'll be back out hunting with FireDiver this fall! Woo hoo! If last years hunt was any inclination, even if I don't get a deer again, we're STILL going to have a blast!  I can't wait!

Adam's Illinois ToDo list: 1. Manny's Tacos 2. 2 nice big round "waffles" at the Kountry Kettle restaurant  3. Manny's Tacos  4. Meet Ralph 5. Climb into the "skyscraper" stand 6.....now he might have time to shoot a deer  If we have 1/2 the fun as last year it will be a blast!

"Waffles" at the Kettle!! LMAO!!! "Meet Ralph" Yes, but I'd kind of like Vicki to trip over my foot again too... "Climb into the skyscraper stand" I saw your hunt last night on tv and got chills. I don't know if it was because of seeing a hunt on tv from a stand I've been in, or from remembering the climb into that sucker! I'm SOOOOOO excited already! Hey Brian, think maybe he'll let us meet this year?
