Default New Brunswick bear Hunt

Any members ever hunted in NB? I Just took a 275lb bear with my bow there last week for my 40th Birthday. I really enjoyed the trip. What are your thoughts of NB? I hunted about 70 miles from Bathurst.

Congrats on the bear I've been to NB for two years in a row, between Fredricton and Moncton. There are some really good bears if you have the patience to wait for them. Problem is, you see so many bears that it is hard to wait Success rate is fantastic, the only drawback for me personally is the lack of color phase bears.

Bearaddict...I've been with Canaan Outfitters--Ugly Bear Lodge the last two years. They are some good, good people and they try their hardest to make sure EVERYONE gets the bear they want. Can't say enough about them
