Try to keep it in somekind of support. It'll mend a lot better. Don't push it too much though. It's better to let it heal the first time instead of having to have it worked on by a Doc.

All ya'll take care of yourselves now, ya hear?

Those things hurt. I've done it enough times that I don't want to do it again.

I bet it did hurt, big time! I'll have to watch my step from now on as I typically get in and out of a truck bed the way you did. I've never broke or seriously hurt mylself, came close a few times but have been lucky. From tumbling down the basement steps, driving thru a barbwire fence on a 4-wheeler, slapping the bow string against my arm....

Ankle injury is no joke! I tore mine up very similar to yours about 12 years ago! Military docs treated it as a simple sprain and I'm still paying the price! Make sure it heals and make sure there are no bone fragments!! Good luck!

It sure was. My little sis was driving and lost control we ended up being flipped off and wrapped around a strand of barb, came out with just a couple knicks and bumps. We were lucky. It was only 2 strands of barb, but what still baffles us is how the 4-wheeler got through it, just not very possible when we walked thru what happened.
