Welcome aboard bro! Not too far away. I'm an hour SE of Dallas - down towards Randy "Preacher". We'll all have to get together sometime. Did I mention that Randy guides for Nate down at 4D in case you get hungry to bow hunt some hogs in a hurry. Maybe sometime me, Randy, and Nate can come bug ya and hunt some hogs up there. Or, just chin wag about shootin hogs! You're gonna love bowhunting. Welcome to the brotherhood!

Welcome to the world of bowhunting, there is nothing else like getting so close to your game that you can count eyelashes, it can be frustrating at times, but, once you get that first kill, you will be hooked for life, and the fact that you kids are into it is great, you will all have some fine memories to share for years to come.

Welcome to the forum. I'm a meat hunter too and only took up bowhunting in the past few years. I've never had as much fun hunting until I took up the bow, I think its made me a better hunter.

Lots of good advice and friendship, and just plain fun here on the forum. Read, post and join in don't be shy. And remember, there is no dumb question. (Cause I've already asked most of them )
