Haven't had anytime yet, going to try and clear some over grown fields and plow them under during the summer. Not sure of what to plant as of yet. Also looking to put some fertilzer around some existing apple trees to help them along.

Mine will hopefully be in this weekend, weather permitting. We have been having lots of rain here and they have rain in the forecast everyday this week.

Try a couple of different varieties. Make sure to put in some chickenwire or other fencing in about a 2 foot diameter...something so the deer can't get their snoots in there to get the greens. This will help you monitor how hard a particular plot/forage is being hit.

A really great show to watch is The Management Advantage. The guy is really dry, but really informative.

I planted mine last weekend. I went with Tecomonte LabLab plus, its kind of spendy, but we are mostly crop acres in my area and decided to try something different to lure them in. Its in the middle of an old abandoned farm place so I have the sprinklers on a timer to run off the well. Its coming up nicely, will get some pics later.
