Default Why not many elk hunts??

I'm a big time elk nut and was wondering if any body else shares my passion? Need to see Ralph and Vicki on the end of a screaming bull elk just as mad as heck. That would be good t.v. Keep up the good work

Hi guys, we love elk hunting and used to do it every year but then we started filming moose and doing our moose mania dvd so we got hooked big time on that. But I can tell you we are making plans for doing more elk hunting in the future. We are starting to look at nw areas and outfitters and do our homework, so once we find out more we will let you all know...

Any elk hunt will be great, but if you are talking rossies then that would be awesome. Since I live in the NW area Washington. BRING YOUR RAIN GEAR!!!!!!!!! 2 years ago it rain hard every day during my 10 days of hunting. Alot of drying clothes and wearing wet ones at that!!! LOL

I'd love to get ONE elk in my lifetime. Doesn't have to be a big rack, but I'm hoping for a big body with lots of meat! May not happen for many years yet, but that is one thing that would be on my "bucket list" (reference the movie).

My brother and I are headed to Colorado in September for a DIY Elk hunt on some public land. He's been out there a few times in the past with his in-laws, but this time it's just going to be the two of us. I'm looking forward to it as I've never been elk hunting before!
