pretty much ready for spring

I think I'm all ready to start hauling out the bait barells in 2 weeks if the snow is gone.I got 3 meat barells,3 oat barells,6 five gal pails of cooking grease and a freezer full of scraps.

I'm 8 hours,I live just south of llyodminster,we hunt bears just an hour north of llyod.Are you fly in to edmonton then driving up or flying direct?

That will depend on the cost of plane tickets...how far of a drive is it from Edmonton? If you were closer I'd say we could meet up and have a cold one!

I think about 5 hours not really sure,I've never been to fort Mac.Every one I talk too hates it up there for some reason.If you would have been going any were close to the LLyod area I definetly would have ran up for a cold one.

worked up there for four years (always lived in high river) and i hate it... youll see me on the corner pushing A$$ before i go there again!

what outfitter are you using up there? from reports from friends the bear have been hit pretty good, with all the transients working up there and not enough time off to go home to hunt.

and yes its five hours on a single lane...the highway of death is what it used to be called. if the moose dont get ya the guys rushing home to s. alberta will!
