Yesterday we were heading to Walmart. On the way we saw 2 different flocks. Thats when Holly said we should checkout our lease property. We went over and saw 6 longbeards 3 jakes and 2 I couldnt tells. We went down the road a little bit and saw around 25 more birds. Until it was all said and done we saw around 5 flocks in maybe 3 miles. It was unreal the birds were everywhere!
Hopefully these are good signs for our spring season.

We have a fall season to. But theres nothing like a gobbling and strutting tom like in the spring. Plus in the fall I would rather bowhunt whitetails.

I take it there aren't many coyotes there eating up the turkeys, the coyotes are really hard on the pheasants around home.

yep, and I don't even hunt them birds. have had people ask about it, but have the cows there, so would want to be there to keep an eye on them. not real trusting when it comes to the cows. angus are expensive. and this is when all the real jobs start kicking in hard and heavy.
