I was 12 when I shot my first one with my rifle, it was a doe, shot with a model 94 30-30 with open sights.

My first one with my bow I was about 20, it was a 5x5 that scored 119.

Can't remember exactly. In my 20's. I remember I killed a buck(8 pt) one day and a doe the next. Since then deer every year (except this season)... not always bucks but at least does every year.

I was in my 30's. I too, remember it like it was yesterday.

I had my grandfather's Model 99 Savage in my left hand and two bullets in my right ( I had just finished hunting for the day and had emptied the rifle). I looked up and saw the buck standing in a field looking directly at me. I chambered one round, raised the rifle and sighted him at 100yds throught the metal peep site. As he turned broadside to run I squeezed the trigger and he dropped on the spot. My first deer was an 8 point 142lb buck.

I was 14 yrs old when I thought I shot a doe but ended up being a spike and hit the big 20 with my first doe with the bow.
