Yesterday I put a string suppressor (aka-STS) on my already quiet hunting bow to see if it was possible to make it any quieter. I learned that Yes, it did work. I was realy impressed shooting it today at the range. I like quite!!!

Yes, that's the hidden + to it.

And with the string not travel as far forward, less chance of hitting bigger winter sleeves too.

I love playing with new toys.

What's an STS?

An STS is a string suppressor system. Look at the link. This is the one I got, but there are other companys that make them too. Some bows now come with them like some of the- hoyts & bowtechs, I think Bear is doing it too.
