Our elk season is about 3 weeks, mule deer is 3 weeks also with a 2 week hunt in January.

I live in PA but lease 400 in New Jersey. Bow season goes from Sept. 8 to Feb. 16. That's alot of days... 138 days to be exact.

Kentucky's archery season in 2007 was from September 1 - January 21st. Pretty long compared to some of the other states. I didn't realize that!!

In Georgia, archery ONLY starts around September 15 and runs to around October 15 (seasons here always start on a Saturday). Primitive weapons starts then and runs to around October 21 (that's archery and muzzleloaders). regular firearms season starts then and runs to Jan 1 in the Northern Zone and January 15 in the Southern Zone. But we can use archery equipment the whole time. We just have to wear hunter orange during firearms season, even if we are hunting with archery equipment.

There is also a special extended archery only season in a 5- or 6-county area around metro Atlanta that doesn't end until Jan 31. But it doesn't include Coweta, where I live .

Ours goes from early Sept - mid Dec.
Previously you had to give up the bow for one week of black powder but this past year they did away with that and you can bow hunt throughout the entire deer season.

That and 2 bucks and unlimited does gives great opportunities.

oh and the extended urban archery season goes through Feb.

Missouri's season goes from September 15 - January 15. There's a break in November during the firearms season, but a bow can be used during the firearms season too.
