Have you hunted Trophy Book Outfitters? Were you successful?

Hunted with Trophy Book Outfitters in 2007. Hunted the spike camp. Shot two boars with one making the Book(19 2/16). Filmed my buddy shooting a big boar with recurve(Bear n Down8). Had a great hunt. My experience was great but have been hearing a few negative reports lately. I would personaly go back again.

On the DVD that Dan sends to potential customers are some incredible bears from that area. To be honest...when I saw this video , I was blown away. Geographically his area is about as good as it gets in Alberta. Like all oputfitters in Alberta....there are 2 bear limits. On the surface, this looks great...long term, I believe it does impact future bear hunting as it reduces the larger males (one outfitter took 60% sows one year) from the gene pool.

I think that Saskatchewan and Manitoba have a better idea. 1 bear per season.
