As a bow and gun hunter I am trying to find one rangefinder that is capable of ranging deer to 400 yards and also have the angle compensation for both modes of hunting. What do you use and what would you recommend for this application. Thanks

I got a Nikon! Works great in both modes.

The Nikon Riflehunter model does exactly what you want and the new one that shoud be out this fall ranges to 1000 yards.

Flint, the ArchersChoice Max should work great for you. I think it ranges out to 200 yds I think and has a LOT of cool features. If that's a little more than you want to spend, any of the Nikon line should work for you too!

Boy do I feel like an idiot! I went and dug out my RF to see which one it is and found out it's a Bushnell! Shows just how observant and how well I know my equipment! That being said, it has settings for rifle and archery with inclinometer.
