I set up my range last week and had her all ready to go when the new sight and rest arrived. They got here Friday and we've had nothing but rain since. Went to my range today and there was a couple inches of water standing everywhere. Needed to sight the bow in so I shot anyway. First arrow missed the target and skipped across the top of the water a couple times before barrelling into the water. Made some adjustments and 2nd arrow was right on target. The rest of the time setting the pins was fast and easy. It was kind of cool though to watch that 1st arrow skipping along the top.

Did ya find the "skipper"? Last time I skipped an arrow, it was on dry ground and we ain't never found it! Hopefully the guy who cuts that field won't find it in one of his tractor tires any time soon.

Oh yeah I found it. Since I'm red/green color blind I put luminocks on my arrows. If I can't find them during daylight, I go back in the evening to find the blinking light.
