No big bears this weekend,it was 22 degrees the first day there and we had a couple smaler bears that started hitting the bait the day before we got there.The one bait hasn't been touched yet.Then the next few days we sat in rain and snow and no bears showed up.Maybe in 2 weeks it will be better.

Timba, keep us posted on your hunt. And the weather, I'm heading up there in 2 1/2 weeks, We 're hoping someone in our family gets a color phase. But what will be, will be. Hope we have fun.

We finally got a nice day today but its been raining and snowing and pretty cool here the last week.So far from what I'm hearing the bears aren't hitting the bait hard yet.But its supposed to warm up and that should get this going.I have only had my bait hit by a couple small bears so far
but a friend of mine has a bait running north of llyodminster and he has a few good pics of big bears from the last day or so.

Thanks for the info, are you hunting up by Buffalo Narrows? In the next little bit have to do the final choice of clothes, it's going to be a tight squeeze so anything in question not coming.

Hope it warms up like the forcast says and gets them hitting the baits. I am leaving for Manitoba Saturday. Like Bear1 looking for a color phase or big blackie.
