Dangerous game.....guess I could muscle up with the 30:06. I'm a little chicken. I was chased by a bear once.....I'm not nearly as fast as I once was.

The 30.06 is the PH's backup to your shot LOL and if he or she misses ---- THEN you backup behind the gunman. In a blind though you can't run very far LOL. At my age I'm not out to run any sprints or foot races with any four legged critter. I'd be a goner for sooouu!

My dreams are simple. With my limited income, the choices would be:
1. Elk
2. Black Bear
3. American Bison

And all 3 would be real hunts, not fenced in killing. (personal opinion, not intended to rile anyone's feathers).
