He has a sticker on the back of each horn, because of that, the measurement had to be taken above the sticker, which isn't as large a diameter as where it's normallly taken. That, plus the horns being glued on affected the net score. The scorer explained that when the horns are glued, it makes the bases swell, so they have to use the next measurement up as the base measurement. (*~*)

Wow!!!! Didn't know how they score a goat. Glued on? They don't cut the skull like a deer?

They do cut the skull plate like a deer, but the horns on a antelope is actually hair that grows over a raised pedical(spelling). That is a sheath that they shed every winter and regrow the next year. So when mounting an antelope you must remove the sheath and clean the skull plate and reattatch with glue or putty. Hope that is clear as mud.
