Chevy, Dodge!
![]() ![]() I love my fords, 1994 F-350 4x4 diesel and a 2000F-250 4x4 diesel, Ford diesel is the only way for me those trucks get me every where I want to go and get the elk out to. The 4 wheeler is nice to, not as loud.

bowing4bulls, had a ford before I bought the new dodge. but after what I went thru with ford, will never buy another one. they started fixing a problem under the warranty, never did fix it, and then when the truck went out of the warranty mileage, they refused to continue to fix it. even though they had worked on it until it had 107000 miles on it. was that new 2004 ford motor. 6.0 litre diesel.

Oh yeah 6.0litre NOT GOOD! 7.3 only. I am very sorry about that, how do you like the Dodge? Have you seen the new ones for this year? I have a firend that has a Dodge and in the last 5 years he has had to put 3 new transmitions in. Never get a Chevy out here, they just don't hold up at all on the rough roads, and you know it's bad when the Chevy dealer ship owner tells you that (we were guiding him on an elk hunt)

b4b, love the new dodge. heard that about the old dodges, the trannies sucked. they fnally took care of that with the new one they are dropping in to them. never even considered the chevy diesel. they are saying they are better, but not sold on it yet. kid says they have no power. at my age, don't care. hahaha going to stay with the dodge for a while I guess. does everything I want it too for hunting, work, and pulling the camper and boat.

I wouldn't touch a dodge,I had a 3/4 4x4 hemi for work.It seemed to always be having brake problems and ball joint's were always shot and its the same with freinds that have them too, they always seem like they are getting fixed. They are 2004-2005's maybe the new ones are better.
