Ralph or Vicki Help please

We have never hunted west of Manitoba and are looking at hunting northwest Saskatchewan way up 6 to 8 hrs. NW of Saskatoon. All things being equal is there much difference between the last 2 weeks of May & the first week of June, is one better? I understand Mrs. Nature runs the show and she does as she sees fit! Great show. We don't see it that often when we are not up to our waists in snow but, I can't believe how down to earth you are!
