Pennsylvania Legalizes Crossbows for Anyone

The PA Game Commission voted to allow anyone to use Crossbows during Archery Season.

Prior to this vote you had to be disabled and apply for a permit.

I'm not posting this to start an argument, I'm posting it so people will be aware of more opportunities to hunt in PA.

Im gonna use both. I think its about time PA gets with the program! Only if we could get Sunday hunting to pass!

Hey Oneshot,
We were ahead of them on the crossbow thing! Maybe some day soon we'll get to hunt on Sundays...Probably right after they decide that we really only need one tag for our vehicles!

That's good to hear, maybe someday N.Y. state will get off the pot and make crossbows legal for hunting. I won't be shooting one of them, but some guys would like to and they should be able to hunt with the weapon they want too.

NJ very, very close to implementing that for the 2009-2010 season. We have our fingers crossed here!!
