I saw something so cool today while headed to the store with my wife. We were just driving along, and up in the woods on both sides of the road, you could still see snow that had not melted yet.
Well, what was so cool is that my wife saw 3 deer walking along a ridge on her side of the road. We wouldn't have seen them without the snow on the ground because they normally blend in so well. Later down the road, only about 100 yards from the local office of the EMC (Electric Membership Corp.), there was another group of deer just standing there in the woods feeding. Like there weren't any big honkin' power trucks just a little ways away. It was so cool to see them so clearly against the snow when it's so hard to see them any other time!
