My buddy owns 10 acres which his house sits on and has about 8 acres of woods. He has it all posted. He HAD 3 ladder stands up, he's now down to 1 as 2 have been ripped off. He's LIVID, as would I be.

That sucks Duane!!!! I had my first one stolen in 8 years last winter. I put them anywhere and the one that was stolen was at our most secure property. So I thought....

not that I advocate inflicting pain on idiots(yes I do)but the easiest way to stop this stuff is to put the cameras in secure metal boxes that are attached to either 6 or 9 volt batteries. won'r hurt too much when the metal box is touched, but the idiot will know they got zapped. and works for all kind of metal objects.

disclaimer: 12 volt batteries work even better.

Unfortunately, the locks just keep the honest guy honest. It think it's requisite for bad guys to carry knives and bolt cutters into the woods.
