What the difference between the katera xl and vectrix?

The katera is the 2008 model and has the new z3 cams.real fast and smooth, really like the draw cycle. The vectrix is the 2007 model real good shooting bow also. both are nice bows..will not go wrong with either bow..

I am pretty sure they now make a Vectrix plus which is 2008 model with the z3 cam. Like Brian said both are shooters.

If the Katera is as good as my Vectrix, it is a great bow. I only started bow hunting in 2007 and it has taken over me. My rifles are crying in the corner. I love those Hoyt bows. SRM out!

I shot one of them in 2006. Not a bad bow but the draw cycle was a little harsh compared to the Vectrix or Katera. Dont get me wrong its still a good bow and I liked it when I had one.

I agree, I thought it had a very short valley..was like a hair trigger....It is still a good bow, but the vectrix and the katera have a much better draw cycle, and a better valley......
