Thanks for the advice! It is really helpful when you find someone shooting the same bow. I really like the trykon. You are right they shoot great at long yardage. What kind of strings do you shoot?

Oppps... I guess my dislexia kicked in, I thought I read Vectrix. Oh well, either way, it's a Hoyt.
I make my own cables and strings, I use D-75 for my cables, I'm also messing with other 450 style materials. Seems more stable than the other material. And of course all of my styk bows get B-50 with a Flemish Twist of lime ![]() There is a fine line that makes great penetration and speed just perfect. A well constructed Cut on contact broadhead helps the arrow a bunch drop out the other side too. |

Oh well a hoyt is a hoyt...sort of! Im hoping to try making some strings of my own soon but so far I have not tried. Im going to get with some guys that can give me a crash course on it. Its hard to beat a good custom made string! The Vectrix is a good bow. My father and law has one in the short axle set up. It is a fast bow! The factory string has a buzz to it but other than that it is a nice setup. So you live in Hawaii?
