My bow has the Hoyt Cam and 1/2 plus. I was wondering if I would be able to switch to the Z3 cam because from what I understand it is a better cam. As far as I know Hoyt has several cams with the Z3 producing the fastest speeds. Also will changing limbs bring better performance or simply restore lost performance? If this is not correct or anyone has any advice please let me know what you think.

I'd suggest you do some tweeken on the cam before tryen to switchem.
I have the Vectrix XL and at 60 sumpen pounds, I can drop anything in North America. I just played with the timing to fit my style of shooting, it dialed right in. I can say, I'm so happy with it. It's the last bow I'll need to buy. I went with the dropzone rest and GT 7595 shafts. sure makes a great blood trail with Snuffers. I just ordered some Easton Tracer nocks. The firenocks went kaput. I need them to find the arrow, after it passes through then into the woods. |

The bow is performing as well as it can with my setup, in fact its perfect. I was just considering upgrading cams if it will improve the bow further. It is a very nice bow. I dont want a new one either, its very comfortable to shoot. Also, I cant get over how quiet it is. My bow is noticeably quieter than my friends new hoyt(which has silencers and such).
