How far will you shoot?

I shoot 60yds all the time, but when hunting the most I will do is 50yds.

I am very comfortable at 40 yards and can get it done at 50 yards but these are not the norm in Ohio. More typical conditions for whitetail here are 30 or less. I would guess we all agree making those 50+ yarders practicing makes the 30 and less a walk in the park to find the mark.

well i really don't take long shots., i don't have the place here to practice long shots ., so i have to use my head and try and get the deer in close., my longest shot to date is 30 yards., and i have been bow hunting for 29 years., i do hunt the swamps so that makes for short shots

I took my deer at 43 yards. My normal limit is 40 yards. I let a monster buck with bases so big it would take two hands to go around them walk at 70 yards, even though I really wanted to take a shot bad. Maybe next year. SRM out!

never had to take a shot over 20 yards. and not even sure I can even see well enough to take a shot over 40 yards. I'll let mine come close or wait til one does.

I have made a shot at 70 yards but the conditions were completely in my favor. I try and practice at 50 - 60 yards as much as possible so I can feel comfortable with this range.

My average shots killing a deer have been under 20 yards. I do have 30-35 shot limit.
